Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty has taken to social media to announce the passing of her mother, Evangelist Agnes Annan. The sad news was shared in a heartfelt statement on Empress Gifty’s social media page.
In the emotional post, Empress Gifty expressed her deep sorrow and grief, saying “S3 ohaw ba meso aaa, na anidasuo nyinaa asa aaa, me nim s3 wo homhom no y3 me ho adwuma nti mensuro” which translates to “When all hope is lost, I still have you, and with your strength, I can face my work”.
She further expressed her love and admiration for her late mother, saying “Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, affectionately called Agaga, was a pillar of strength and love of our family”.
Empress Gifty announced that her mother passed away after a short illness, and that further arrangements would be shared in due course.
The gospel musician ended her post with a heartfelt message to her late mother, saying “AGAGA ILOVE YOU RIP”.
